Mute the room with one tap. Silence one channel with the next.
Strofa talks to your Soundcraft Ui mixer over the local network via WebSocket — the same protocol the mixer's own web interface uses. That means you control it directly, with no extra hardware and nothing to plug in, straight from the app you're already holding on stage.
Between sets, hit mute all and the whole desk goes quiet in an instant — no feedback, no stray channel bleeding into the room while you take a break. Come back, unmute, and you're straight into the next number.
Need finer control? Mute individual channels — inputs, aux sends or the master — right from the app. Kill a chatty DI, drop an aux for a monitor tweak, or cut the master in an emergency.

Open Settings and enter your mixer's IP address — or IP:port if you've changed the default. Make sure your device is on the same Wi-Fi as the mixer, and Strofa connects. That's the whole configuration.
Find the IP on the mixer itself, or in your router. The Ui series broadcasts its own Wi-Fi, so you can also connect the iPad directly to the desk.
Wi-Fi hiccups happen on stage. If the connection drops, Strofa reconnects automatically as soon as the network is back — so the control link is there when you reach for it, without fiddling in the settings mid-gig.
Setup & reliability
Enter the IP once. Then it just works.
Getting connected takes one line: open Settings, type in the mixer's IP address (or IP:port), and you're done. Strofa handles the WebSocket handshake and keeps the channel list in sync with the desk.
On stage, networks wobble — someone unplugs a switch, the Wi-Fi drops for a second. Strofa's auto-reconnect keeps the connection alive, quietly re-establishing the link the moment the network comes back, so you never have to think about it.
Because control lives in the same app as your setlist, the mute is exactly where your hand already is — no reaching for a separate device or leaving the song view to keep the room under control.
