Strofa includes a bar signal — a big, unmissable button that sends a signal to the Strofa Display on the bar. The bartender sees it light up. You get your beer without leaving the stage or shouting across the room.
How it works
The bar signal is tucked into the Strofa app. When you need a refill mid-set, tap the big button. A signal fires in real time to the Strofa Display — the screen you've set up facing the bar. It flashes the signal for a few seconds, then goes back to normal.
No app on the bar side. Just the display browser running in kiosk mode on any screen. The bar staff sees the flash, interprets it correctly, and a beer appears at the stage monitor.
It is, genuinely, a professional musician quality-of-life feature. You have your hands full. The set must continue. These problems are solvable.
More options
Beyond the Strofa Display, the beer button can trigger a Shelly smartplug — connect any physical device to the network and it activates when the signal fires. A lamp, a buzzer, an LED strip. Visible from behind the bar without anyone needing to look at a screen.
With Strofa's built-in DMX controller, you can tie a lighting scene to the beer button. The preset fires when you tap, the stage lights do something unmissable for a few seconds, then return to your active programme. No extra software — it all lives in Strofa.
